Like many times before I listened to a new song and this song didn't escape my mind. This happened recently when I listen to Island Past by Saccades a solo project by Nicholas Wood the former half of KVB an audio-visual duo which worked on their own kind of electronic post-punk and shoegaze in the last decade. Now he turned more into a sort of escape music for quieter moments. This song is a melange of idyllic synths, an accented bass, laid back guitar parts and dreamlike vocals. Perfect for a start into after-work hours.
