Adam introduced us to the latest show by Andrew Weatherall on NTS and listening to it was a great joy as every time. He introduced is once more to new kind of music as every month. He started with a new song by Günter Schickert, a musician that is a long time part of German music scene. He was a member of the Berlin free jazz scene in the 60's and also a roadie and audio engineer for Klaus Schulze and member of some unknown bands. Now he surprised me with a new release of guitar dominated song with a big touch of world music and a steady going groove. 30 years earlier it would like to describe his sound familiar to German band Dissidenten. A sound that sounds fresh and new to our old ears.
