About ten years ago Thousand Foot Whale Claw, a Austin, Texas, based electronic collective released Dope Moons Vol. 1, a four song album that was on heavy rotation at this time. Phobos was the leading track and I featured it a few years back. In 2018 they released Black Hole Party and they remained true to their line. Instrumental electronic music for a time-out in space. Their music, a mixture of post rock, krautrock, ambient and psychedelic is unique and sadly overlooked by many people. For me the right one to finish the month and start into autumn.
