Missing In Action and more

In 1980 a band from Sheffield named The Comsat Angels appeared on the scene with a unique mixture of post-punk and new wave with a heavy pop appeal in their sound. I grabbed out their first two record recently and was astonished how fresh their songs sound more than 40 years ago. They didn't stepped the successful way but their influence  to later bands like The Editors are distinctive. Listening to their songs after a long years I think it was an underrated band in these day with a lot fantastic and groundbreaking bands appeared. But Comsat Angels were still worth to listen. these days.
