Another journey through the archives takes us back to 1970 when classic rock wasn't really gone, progressive rock wasn't born and glam was unimaginable. Family was a band I loved in these days. Not only of the heavy and dominant guitar by Charlie Whitney, Roger Chapman's tumbling voice or just the perfect rhythm section was the reason for my attraction to the band. I think it was the arrangements of the songs and the influence of psychedelic music and the adding of flutes and violin to their music. Listening to their timeless songs I can't believe that they are more than 45 years old.
