Today's song is from the last album by Sandro Perri, a Toronto based musician and producer. Some of you will know him as a member of Great Lake Swimmers and his music is called a unique mixture of post-rock, electronic, ambient, folk and experimental among others. And his latest album In Another Life was one of those that was played often at my house. Especially the title track, a song which turns on own axis and allows to grow out on simple ideas built up an amusing mixture of indiscernible increases and everlasting repetitions. Synthie, piano, guitar and song – does not need any more to it to create a counter-pole to the ephemerality. Dreamy, amusing and sensitively, all these qualities make the song a little masterpiece.

I posted this song over at my place a couple of weeks before Drew kicked off the series a few months back, so felt I shouldn't repeat it so soon, but I'm extremely glad to see that someone else has. You're dead right Walter - it's a little masterpiece. An album recommended to all.
