A new band appeared for me the recent days. Lucy's Diary is the band project by Lucy Joplin and JJ Crash and they do their own style of Americana influenced guitar pop. The songs are carried by Joplin's rich voice and harmonious guitar passages. I suspect they're British, even though the music is more typically American. Nothing earth-shattering, but a beautiful and solid album.
