What Ever We Do

For a long time I didn't post some reggae and dub. One of my favorites in this genre are Ruts DC, especially their collaboration with Mad Professor. This record was released in a tinny case and it is a record that accompanied me during the last decades. It might be music for the end of the day but I still love this relaxed and ambitious sound. It's the sound for the last drink before you finish the day - for sure!

Ocio De Las Sombras

Inspired by Swiss Adam's post a few days ago I listened to a lot of dub the recent days. And I have to admit that King Tubby is one of the greatest ever. If I could find this record in any way I would buy it - anyway it will cost and hand it over to Adam. What a peaceful, relaxed and ambition sound it was. Perfect - I will raise my last glass to him.

Enjoy.

Dub Breakfast

These days are very less tourists at this place. Season will continue for another 3 or 4 weeks and then it willbe over. Some people bought praperty in Mirissa and one of them are French. Really nice people and a little freaked out as well. Yesterday we celebrated the last evening for Anna, because she leaves today back to France with a good dinner and some Arrack. This morning we met at our local beach bar for breakfast. While there wasn't any other gues around I took the chance to play some dub reggea to comfort our breakfast. And soon the bar filled up with some locals and tourists.

This song is a cover from one of the best New Wave band from the US: Martha and the Muffins.

 Enjoy
