A Taste Of Chicago

Chicago born DJ and producer Jamie Watson aka Jamie 3:26 attracted my attention the first time a few years ago when he remixed Bostiche by Swiss new wave band Yellow. He remixed many other songs since then and now he released the result on a superb album. As the title of this albums says it is a journey into Chicago's house music through Jamie 3:26's ears. Or in his own words: 'This compilation represents the true unspoken sound of my city. While the House scene was blossoming into what would be a globally recognized phenomenon, we had this whole hidden movement going on. These personal edits that I played back then represent magical moments in time that are still being created in many of my sets today'.  Dancefloor music as it should be.
